The COSMO Pendulum Fertiliser Spreaders are ideal for spreading pilled, granular or powder fertiliser, seed and other granular products on golf courses, sports fields and grounds, as well as in many horticulture and municipal applications.
The variable settings in the gearbox and the variety of optional spouts provide the operator maximum accuracy with the spread pattern and spread width.
The COSMO PDHV Series Fertiliser Spreader has a heavy-duty tubular frame supporting a large rectangular shaped fibreglass hopper (800ltr). This hopper can be extended by 200ltrs (PDHV1000) or 450ltrs (PDHV1250) for commercial operators wanting to spread large volumes of material.

Spreading:
- Oscillating pendulum spout
- Oscillating spreading action minimises wind influence reducing operating and material costs
- Slide ruler, dosing rod and spreading chart work in conjunction to allow the operator to calibrate the amount and type of fertiliser with the operating speed of the tractor
- Calibrating the implement assures that a predetermined amount of material (kg) will be discharged per acre
- 1* – 16m spreading width. Implement is supplied with an 8 – 16m plastic full coverage spout (304.100). *Spreading under 8m requires one of the optional spouts itemised in options below
Hopper:
- Rectangular, squat hopper for loadability
- UV stabilised, heavy-duty Fiberglass hopper will not corrode
- A hopper extension is used to increase capacity from CPDV50; the 500ltr base model
- Two exit points and a large three-pronged agitator ensures fertiliser works its way into the gearbox
Drive System
- PTO driven, Series 4 PTO shaft
Continuous orbital flywheel gearbox featuring:
- Input shaft with rubber shock absorber
- Key adjustment system provides three ranges of oscillation
- Two stainless steel plates control fertiliser distribution and shut off
- Internal plastic cone feeds fertiliser to the plastic spout
- Easy to access grease nipples on the oscillating fo
Construction
- Tubular frame with laser-cut gearbox mounting plate
- Category 1 and 2 bolted pin linkage/mounting
- Metal parts are undercoated with a two-stage polyurethane finish
