The BULLY Mini-Till Disc Seeder is perfect for seeding and fertilising in fully prepared and minimum tillage situations.

One implement drills, seeds, fertilises and finishes the seedbed in one pass. Reducing passes over the land minimises compaction, and saves on labour, machinery hours, fuel and most importantly…your time.

Designed for tractors 40*- 90hp, the spring-loaded swept back design of the double opening discs allow the seeder to float over uneven ground while the 190mm spacing, optimal for seedbed utilisation and managing weed competition, can be controlled by shutting off seed cups.

Seed Boxes

• Stainless steel box construction provides longevity

• Front box comes with an agitator. Ideal for large seed and/or granular fertiliser

Seeding

• Each seed box has independent metering control, allowing concurrent sowing at different rates
• Rate control indicator gives quick referencing of sowing rates
• Clear seed cups provide a view for monitoring seed flow
• Spring pins on seed tubes make dealing with obstructions easier
  

  

  

• Weight platforms on both front sides facilitate the addition of weight to increase down pressure for seeding in dry, hard soil or heavy crop residue
• Torsion Bar Wheel controls the spring tension on the double disc openers. It allows the operator to control downward pressure, changing the disc penetration depth
  

  

  

Coulters

• 190mm spacing on coulters and double opening discs for optimum yield, however, seed cups can be independently shut off to customise row spacing
• Spring-loaded coulters cut through old crops and open a strip ahead of the discs
• Choice of wavy or straight/bubble coulter discs:

• Wavy coulters are designed to help manage residue by cutting through old crop and opening a strip in the soil. 13-Wave coulters have good tilling action, achieving a fine soil tilth at all speeds, in dry, sandy and heavy soil conditions.
• Straight/bubble coulters are designed for fields with light residue where minimum stirring of the soil is desired. We do not recommend this coulter if you have ‘sticky’ soil.
  

  

  

Discs

• Swept back disc carriers allow the double disc openers to move independently over undulating ground
• Spring-loaded, the double disc design creates a wide, deep furrow for the seed
• Scrapers prevent soil build-up which can cause discs to lift and plant at an incorrect depth

Cast iron discs and hubs add weight, where it counts, and increase longevity

Roller

• Full-width roller provides drive to both seed boxes
• Open cage design breaks down clods and firms the surface to improve seed germination
• Spring-loaded height adjustment on the roller allows operator to set cutting depth of the coulters as they cut through residue
• Closer Plate bar is adjustable and reversible allowing the operator to adjust for ground conditions and seed cover requirements
  

  

  

  

3pl Information

• Category 1 & 2 quick-hitch compatible 3-point linkage
• On smaller tractors, this implement is only limited by tractor 3PL lifting capacity, not HP. If a tractor can safely lift and transport the seed drill, then it will be able to operate the seed drill.
